How big is this building ? Isn’t moving an embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem a really big project ? Will they use the Army Corp of Engineers or subcontract it out to Egypt. Look what they did to build the Pyramids of Giza !

Are you serious? I hope you're joking.

They are obviously not talking about moving the building. They will move the people and equipment to another building.

Sounds like yet another bad idea from the Trump Administration.

Not really.
Many prior POTUS have recommended doing so.

Just so happens none of them were willing to cross the political/who is gonna feel bad if we do it...politically and politically correct emasculation.

So now when Trump does something instead of just talking....the establishment...worldwide...goes tilt.

To do something that has been deemed right.....or stop doing something that is wrong or incorrect or unlawful....should not be subject to the whims of political or special interest or minority groups "feelings/wants/desires".

But for many here that is no matter. If Trump did it....automatically wrong. The soreness of the election loss and the self preservation of the establishment makes normally rational people do and say some pretty stupid things to further their agenda.....anti-Trump no matter what.

The embassy is not the building.

What I don't understand is that Israel is a sovereign country. They have a prime minister, a legislature, and a judiciary. Isn't it up to them to determine where their capital is?

If they tell us the capital is Jerusalem, then that where we put our embassy. Why is it up to us to "recognize" their capital?

No...it's NOT a "good f@cking question".

The division of land in Israel is under contention. How about we decide we want Ottawa for OUR capital...f@ck Canada. We'll just expand our borders to fit it in. Not quite the same but similar...the Palestinians claim parts of Jerusalem too.

HOW the f@ck can you call yourself a RESEARCH librarian? How? You don't know anything.

Trump needs a good war. Since goading North Korea turned out to be not such a good idea, a conflagration in the Middle East might distract his base from the nasty Russian investigation. Every Arab nation in the world is outraged and so are our Western allies.

Israel Knesset, prime minister, president, et al already seated in Jerusalem . Trumps move is more symbolic.

Here is a leader with intestinal fortitude who refuses to bend his policies based on the polls or talking heads salacious, gossip. We should rejoice because he is just one of the few in Washington

The same people criticizing Trump predicting doom and gloom and spreading fanciful narratives instead of facts are the same people who laughed and said he never could get elected.

Its sad when the poster child for your party (progressive) is someone like Joy Behar

He lost the popular vote and would have lost the Electoral one too except for James Comey' s ill time announcement about Anthony Weiner's e-mails. And he had an incredible amount of help from his friends in Russia.

This was actually voted on by Congress back in the nineties and was ignored by the three previous presidents. It's about time that we have someone that understands the separation of powers and the system of checks and balances.

Explaining to Trump the importance of maintaining a delicate security balance, honored by both American parties and U.S. allies, doesn’t work – because he’s the kid who enjoys tearing down the tower of blocks, not the one who likes to build it.

This was true with the Paris climate accord, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, his Muslim ban, and now with his policy toward Israel.

Predictably, most of the world responded with disgust yesterday, with officials from allied countries using words like “dangerous” and “catastrophic.” The United Nations secretary general spoke of his “great anxiety,” while the European Union expressed “serious concern.”

Because in the end, the president cared less about pursuing a sensible policy and more about saying “I am delivering” for the cameras.

An excellent presentation of what the media, the democrats, all the establishment national and international want you to know.

Climate accord. Did you read the details of the billions that the USA pays into that organization....much of which gets divided among the other members. And did you take note of what the USA gets from it?
Also that the majority of the $$ paid go to nothing having to do with the climate.

So why did this action and story dry up and lose media attention? Because of the above.

A no nonsense, non politician goes in and sees a bad deal for the USA and calls it quits.
All that gets reported is the roar of the establishment...none of the details of why it was/is a bad deal.

Same BS on the move of the embassy to Jerusalem.
A no nonsense, non politician agrees what past presidents were proposing and why. And instead of bowing before the permissive crowd and rolling over to those who have something to lose....he does what those before him advocated.

What he has going against him?
Clinton lost the sure thing election and the party is still flailing about....and are vehement anti-Trump anything.
The establishment both R&D and internationally that are totally against any change that brings threat to their current holdings/rewards/kingdoms.
The amplifier of all that is good (anti Trump) and all that is bad (anything that Trump does).

Is he right or wrong?
How would we ever know.
The establishment and the media are dedicated to assure we never know.

None untypical reactions to a change agent.

Actually the real question is how will you recover from your inevitable stroke when the house flips to the Dem’s in 2018. I’d pay NOTHING to watch you drool down your face from the right side of your mouth.
