I just looked at LSL on the Village webcam (5:11 PM on 10/23/09) and there are three distinct dark objects moving around in the sky. All of the other clouds are stationery. What the heck am I looking at?

I see 4 of them, and bet they are some kind of dirt in front of the camera. Like maybe on a cob-web or spider web? They seem to move together in the wind. :shrug:

While it would be fun to drive down to the square to look for the "flying saucers" I expect it would be easier to just tell the good folks that manage the webcam to clean the lens or glass on the weatherproof cover to remove the spots. Sharp eyes you have there.

Sharp eyes - not really, they were moving at a pretty good clip when I first noticed them. BTW, my heading mistakenly says 5:12 PM 10/30/09 should have said 10/23/09. !0/30 is my closing date on my home in TV and I can't seem to get that date out of my mind, I guess.

Those really are flying saucers. I can see them.
