A husband could do the same. It was not until the late 1960's that a woman could actually have a credit card, alone, without a spouse or a father as a cosigner.

Until you know the harassment that a woman puts up with: day after day, in any social setting, in any professional setting, I strongly suggest you butt your ignorant views out of your attempt to misdirect THEIR assaults to the defense of the criminal who is assaulting them. In Alabama, it's actually a former Alabama Supreme Court Justice
