Comcast Question about wireless use with basic

I called Comcast and they will not supply wireless with their basic 24.95 service. Has anyone added wireless themselves with no issues? Thanks

Yes, I have a Linksys wireless router attached to my Comcast basic internet service and it works fine. Of course, getting the Comcast tech to make the internet service work at all was an entirely different story.
