Has anyone sold the GE 21 cf refrig (new) that The Villages puts in ranch houses? We are moving into a new home that has a GE Model GTH21KC and we've purchased a new side by side. Want to sell the 21 cf GE but don't know what to ask. It's BRAND NEW, NEVER USED, has an ice maker and new owner can send in the Warranty Card.

Please let me know what you think this is worth. It retails at Home Depot for $764.00.

Thank you.

You will want to do a search on refrigertors and at one time there was a thread that some dealers will take the unit in on exchange for a different model if it had never been used. Worth a shot but if you already purchased a new onw you may have to go the resale route.

I've seen 2 or 3 in the Daily Sun classified section and/or on this site, for $250 OBO if I recollect correctly.

Sure you don't want to keep it as a 2nd fridge? We bought a bigger side by side to put in the kitchen... saved the original one. It comes in sooooo handy. We usually keep it filled with refreshments but it also comes in handy whe you have those large pots of leftover or getting ready to throw a party. I don't know we ever got along with just one.

I'd LOVE to keep it, but believe it or not, the garage of our new Designer Gardenia is 2 feet SMALLER than the garage in our Ranch Amarillo!! :swear: Go figure !!!

We did almost the same thing in our CYV. We wanted a French Door model, which we got. We were going to donate to Salvation Army for the tax credit, but a good friend bought it from us to use in their garage.
Suggest when out for a walk ask newbies if they want a second one for their garages!

It is WHITE and the Model # is GTH21KCXWW. You can go to www.homedepot.com and read about it. Retails for $764.10. This one is an upgrade from the "$250.00 special" The Villages originally put in our ranch home.

Just sold ours on Craig's List for $275 the first day I posted. No one responded when I put it on this web site or The Daily Sun.

Thanks...I'll have to try that. I did put my bar stools on Craigs List but haven't sold them yet. If we don't sell the Frig and if it won't fit in our new garage...we plan to find a place to donate it. I'd rather do that than "give" it away for a pittance anyhow !!!
