used Ben Sykes (November 2017) does good work came quickly not cheap but made some other suggestions which made sense. He installed natural light bulbs and put in new ceiling fixtures high hats I think they are called. Place is much better lit now.

We use Scott's Plumbing and Pike's Electric. Both are very good and reliable.

I am looking for an electrician that can trouble shoot a wiring problem in my house. The lights keep flickering and it looks like it could be on more than one circuit. Does anyone else have this problem with The Villages homes?

We used Scott's Electrical just a month ago. Home improvements were in progress when we realized that an electrical plug had to be moved. Scott's responded quickly and the project continued with little delay. We were pleased with their quick response and service.

You might want to call your electrical supplier (Duke or Seco) and have them check the meter base etc., if they find nothing, then you can get an electrician involved. Also, try to keep track of when this is occurring, for example do you notice this when the washing machine is running, or during a certain time of day? Have you double checked the flickering bulbs are screwed in tightly in the base? If this is in one area of the house, can you turn off that circuit breaker and see if any other lights are flickering? You may also want to ask your neighbors if they have noticed the flickering, this would indicate a problem outside your house.
Send me a PM and phone number if you would like to discuss further.
Also, to answer your actual question, no I have not seen flickering lights in our house (2013 vintage).
