The USA lost 128-9 in a humiliating defeat, all right. Par for the course with Trump in charge. China is becoming the world leader as nations are simply ignoring this country and setting up trade deals with one another.

I had a lot of respect for Nikki Halley - but that ended yesterday when she said the USA is "taking names" of the countries who vote to condemn the USA for the ridiculous move of the US embassy.

She is nothing more than a Trumpet and should go back to SC in disgrace.

I agree, and am finding the GOP is flat out selling out in total to Trump and Fox News.

To threaten the world on a non binding vote is simply stupid.

Work on peace as others have tried in Jerusalem, before simply playing world bully.

We are going so hard extremist in this country and being conned that it is the "american" thing to do.

Bullying, attacking your own country, using an entire network (although they are also complicit) to act as State News is not making anyone greater, and certainly is NOT American in any way shape or form.

Apparently the Palestinian leaders are shutting the USA completely out of the peace process in the future...although to be honest I'm not sure that is such a bad thing. We've wasted too many young lives and money in that hellhole called the Middle East.

OMG...the Palestinian leaders!

Israel should do with them...what we should do with the Mexicans...round them all up and throw them out.

"What makes Trump admin think it can act unilaterally on Jerusalem and threaten other governments and UN when US criticized for it-and then expect others to work with the US at the UN to pressure N Korea or Iran? Is nobody thinking strategically about relationships or priorities?"

Tweet From Richard Haass, President of Council on Foreign relations.

Trump just thinks about what makes him feel good about himself and getting his next ego fix at one of his 2020 campaign events.

Ms. Haley is just following his orders like a good soldier.

The Trump doctrine in bits:

It’s all about me folks. Speak loudly and carry a big stick. Oh yeah, well your momma too. What, me worry ? Never give a sucker an even break. Congress, we don’t need no stinking Congress. Love me or leave me, either way I don’t care. Listen to what I say, not what I do. I love people, no I don’t. Me and I alone will make Amerika great again. If it sounds to good to be true, I was behind it. Read my lips, now go away. Relationships, for pussies. I’m the commander in chief of my military, they will obey any order I give. I really didn’t want this job, it’s Hillary’s fault.

Have I missed anything ?

When US builds embassy in Jerusalem... Hmmm

Like the one we built one in Benghazi?

you mean that the Balfour Agreement means nothing

Jerusalem has been the center of the Israel government for a very long time. Trump is the only president of the last 4 that kept this ntion's word by acknowledging the obvious and recognized Jerusalem as the Israel capital . gutsy move and an honest one.

Why is anyone surprised at the UN's reaction Hypocrisy rains heavy in those hallowed halls called the UN. Trump exposes that hypocrisy

There has been continual talk over the years by all Administrations to boot the UN out of NYC .

Personal Best Regards:

The only people who talked about getting rid of the United Nations were the John Birch society members and their ilk. That conspiracy theory has been around since the 1950s. Apparently they are a bunch of incompetents because they've tried for over 60 years now....How One Conspiracy Theory Group Pushes Anti-U.N. The liberal a-holes should ask themselves what would The USA say and do if suddenly Tijuana started sending Bombs over into into San Diego.

The answer is, the next day there would be no Tijuana.

Balfour, an English pronouncement, goes back about 100 years and is considered to be one of the main impediments to peace in the region.

Also....

"Israel claims all of Jerusalem as its capital, while the Palestinians claim the city's eastern sector, captured by Israel in the 1967 Mideast war, as the capital of a future independent state. These rival claims lie at the heart of the decades-long Israeli-Palestinian conflict."

While Israel controls the city and its government is based there, its annexation of east Jerusalem is not internationally recognized. The international community overwhelmingly says the final status of Jerusalem should be resolved through negotiations.
