Birdcage question

i used to see advertising for a gentleman who had a patented system for a covered hole in the bottom rail of a cage to allow water to escape when cleaning. Does anyone know if he’s still around and how to contact him? Thanks

We used this company, who installed two on our lanai. One of the plastic (doors) has already snapped off.
