I have macular and I need new glasses and I am having a terrible time finding an ophthalmologist who wants to be bothered with my problem. I have a Retina Specialist who does not do glasses .....
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Have you thought of Ocala Eye here in TV. I don’t know about macular glasses, but I do know they deal with glasses for complex situations.

As strange as this may sound to you, go to Sam's Club. I, too have AMD in addition to a pucker in my right eye. I have had prisms as a result of an accident when I was 30 so my prescription is rather complicated. They did an excellent job and weren't satisfied until I was. Call Sam's Optical and set an appointment as their physician is not in every day. CBR# is 352-751-6887. Oh, and BTW they were MUCH less expensive than the typical optical places.Best of luck.
