Trump speaks what people think. We all know which the shlthole countries are. To speak the way he speaks is not classy but he wants to get his point across and that’s his style. Most powerful people simply give a wink and a nod, classier than Trump but still the same message.

Issue here is not the word the president uses to describe these countries but the fact that he thinks their living conditions should disqualify people from being allowed to come here -- which would disqualify most immigrants in our history.

NO NO NO...get your f@cking history straight! The "diversity" was ALL European. Just a few percent were coming in from black/brown places.
America was built from WHITE and EUROPEAN immigrants...not black and brown people. The invasion began in the 1960s.

With just 10 days before he finishes his first year as president, Trump has made 2,001 false or misleading claims in 355 days, according to our database that analyzes, categorizes and tracks every suspect statement uttered by the president. That’s an average of more than 5.6 claims a day."

Trump's comments about immigrants from "****hole countries" is among the worst statements he has ever uttered. It might very well be the worst.
It is a present for the Democrats though.
To have this outrage come as we approach the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is to cast in sharp relief the moral gulf between America as envisioned by the civil rights activist and our current President. It was Dr. King who said "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." By all accounts, Mr. Trump does not now and has never believed in such an America.
He seems to want to make America White Again as a newscaster said tonight.
This is undeniably and clearly outright racist. It simply cannot be allowed to continue by anyone who cares about the future of this country. This is sad. It is hurtful. It is dangerous. It is unpatriotic. Each elected official, each American, has a choice: where do you stand? Some may say this helps the President with his base. What about how it debases the values of our nation? This rhetoric has to be damned at every turn, at every time. That millions of hard working men, women, and children have lives that hang in the balance at the whims of this President only makes this moment all the more tragic. Make no mistake, America is diminished today in the eyes of the world and in the eyes of history. It will be up to every decent person to make sure that this is not our destiny.
I hope people will see how wrong Trump's statement was.

Hey, I own a house in Atlantic City. It does have complicated, serious problems. That said, on my block english is the third language, Vietnamese follow by Spanish are the lead languages. I have said Trump is wrong because it is very much like when I was a kid, a family neighborhood. Mom & dad and two kids. They get up and go to work every day. Since their language skills are low they don't make much money.

There are political considerations to be measured but he is so out of whack, you wonder how long.
My opinion is that they will wait for the report from Mueller and then ditch him. That report will detail quite a bit more and give them cover with donors, etc.
But who knows how long the GOP can take the hits it is getting as a result of this presidency. Polls, registration numbers, etc are piling up in the negative catagory, and they need to really begin to worry about a democratic landslide in 2018. Note all the retirements within the GOP....a good indicator of the weakness of the party going into 2018

good point and they cannot get rid of him soon in any case.
Impeachment is a political process. A president cannot be indicted for anything actually.
My thought......depending on the results of the investigation, and of course since it is Trump and he cares nothing about the country, and only him, he will blame everyone else for whatever comes out and will not do anything honorable...so he fights....how long the Republicans stay with this faltering presidency is the question.
Severity of any crimes, if any, from Mueller may tell the tale. They will then leave quickly and then impeachment becomes the avenue because as with Nixon, the day comes when you gotta face reality......of course this it Trump and he simply creates his own reality

Not a lawyer but I believe the impeachment bar is very low. We not talking felonies as a prerequisite. President Johnson's impeachment was a political affair. Of course to actually be impeached some republican senators would have to vote with the democrats. Could be interesting politics. It would be great theater to see democrats voting to keep him office only to have McCain wheeled in the cast the deciding thumbs down and say backs are a bitch.

Yep, it is everywhere.
Of course he will deny, call everyone a liar, etc., etc.
This is and always has been a very bad man. As our country becomes a reality show because of this person, he is "playing" the entire country especially those called "his base".
He needs to keep this group "on board" with whatever he does or says, because if they go, the GOP will turn on him quickly.
They, no matter why they still trust such a terrible person, will not come out of this reality show with any sense of satisfaction.
This experience that he is putting a once great country through will certainly insure that the GOP is sapped of any strength, and our country will no longer have the respect of the world.

LOGAN, Ia. — U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley faced relentless questioning about President Donald Trump’s fitness for office and his own handling of the investigation into Russian election meddling at a rural town meeting here Friday morning.
“Are you not personally concerned about his fitness to serve? If not, why not? Because I’m very concerned,” Mary Mikels, a retired 67-year-old from nearby Portsmouth, asked Grassley.
Grassley deflected that question, saying he wasn’t qualified to make a psychiatric assessment, but Mikels persisted.
“He gets on Twitter and says the last thing that Fox News told him to say,” she said. “That’s not presidential. It’s concerning. Are you personally concerned?”"

Is her bank statement available for review? If so, are all sums of money this lady deposits in her account to be considered "hush money"?
My wife deposits money in our account, should I consider that as "hush money"? The checks are signed by a man, I'm guessing that's a determining factor?

Engaging with trolls is something I try to avoid, but in this case, I do not lie, and certainly not on a damn forum.
You have diminished reading skills and horrendous comprehension talents or your repeating an oft answered query would simply stop.
Repeating my self to a troll is not conducive to anything, so please go back under your bridge and try to instigate with one of your flunkie friends.
Actually, responding to you makes me feel dirty, so going to wash your vile stink off. Do not expect another response from me except for repudiating your posts without substance or merit, and with no credidation.

"Jacob Weisberg, editor-in-chief of the Slate Group, said on Friday that in a series of interviews with Ms. Clifford in August and October 2016, she told him she had an affair with Mr. Trump after meeting him at a 2006 celebrity golf tournament. She told him that Michael D. Cohen, a lawyer for Mr. Trump, had agreed during the presidential campaign to pay her the $130,000 if she kept the relationship secret, Mr. Weisberg said, adding that Ms. Clifford had told him she was tempted to go public because the lawyer was late in making the payment and she feared he might back out of their agreement.
In a text message exchange that Mr. Weisberg provided to The Times, he pressed her on details of the agreement.
“Was the Trump lawyer Michael Cohen?” he asked.
“Yep!” responded Ms. Clifford, who goes by the stage name Stormy Daniels.

About 215 people are being let go starting Thursday, leaving about 1,100 workers at the plant, according to the company. That's down from the some 1,600 factory, office and engineering jobs at the facility when Carrier announced plans in early 2016 to move production to Mexico."

"For a fleeting moment Tuesday, President Trump seemed to signal he would do the right thing on immigration. At a 90-minute meeting with congressional Republicans and Democrats, much of it televised, he said he’d be willing to “take the heat” for a broad
immigration deal of the sort urgently needed by the country and despised by his hard-core base.
Alas, it was all a charade. The real Donald Trump was back two days later with his now notorious “****hole” remark, asking why the United States should accept people from places like Haiti or Africa instead of nice Nordic countries like Norway, and then tweeting his tiresome demands for a “Great Wall” along the Mexican border.
Never mind that Norwegians are not clamoring to leave what is rated as the happiest nation on earth, and setting aside renewed questions about Mr. Trump’s fitness, the flip-flop left the issue of immigration more confused than before."

I realize how many of you look at this as some sort of reality show, but this is all real. Our President has made us a tabloid nation.
The activist artist, in an interview with Lousiville, Ky. radio station WFPK-FM, insisted CIA agents past and present told him how they were “truly concerned” about President Trump’s deep ties to Russia.
“They were like, ‘This is ‘The Manchurian Candidate,’ like (Vladimir Putin) has a Russian agent as the president of the United States,” he said, referring to the movie about a murderous government mole.
“So they passed on some information to me and they said, like, ‘Look you have more of a social media following than any of us do, can you please post some of these things ... sort of put it out there?’” recounted Moby, who boasts 1.35 million Twitter followers.
In February 2017, shortly after the Trump inauguration, Moby posted on social media that the Russian government was “blackmailing” the new chief executive.
He’s now doubling down on his claim, suggesting things will get worse during year two of the Trump Administration.
“It’s really disturbing and it’s going to get a lot darker,” he said. “Like the depths of the Trump family in business and their involvement with organized crime, sponsored terrorism.
“I guess we should all, like, fasten our seat belts and hold on.”

I don't hate women...just stupid ones who think they're equal to men...especially white men.
We're NOT all the same...we're NOT all equal...quotas and lowered standards do NOT make you equal...!!! A title does NOT make you equal. DOING THE WORK equally makes you "equal"...and women most often CANNOT do what is required to be equal to men.
You just CAN'T...we were all made differently. You wouldn't try to teach cats to be retrievers when hunting geese from a boat. Dogs can't be used as a "mouser" on a farm. We EACH have value...but it's in DIFFERENT things. And they DON'T usually overlap much.
STOP trying to be men...you're NOT good at doing what we do. We don't try to be women...because we KNOW we're not good at it.
The fact is...many...most?...women hate being women...they wish they could be men.
As for the dying out of white men...America was #1 in the world...when we were the majority and ran things. Since "you've" been in control...the 1960s...America has gone to sh!t. We're now the minority and America has fallen to #25. You did a bang-up job ladies!
In 30 years...America may not exist. NO country has EVER survived a complete changing of the "people", the demographics from 90% one race to 80% another race.
It doesn't happen. You're NOT going to have a nice peaceful well run country when it's 80% black/brown people. There ISN'T ANY "well run country" that is 80% black/brown people. This will NOT be the first.
OBAMA told you...the world is equalizing...what he DIDN'T tell you is...WE are being slowly reduced DOWN to their level...because there AREN'T the RESOURCES for EVERYONE to live like we do.
The planet IS running out of the stuff that everything is made from. Mines are running out, oil reservoirs MUST be fracked to get at what's left. It's a zero sum world...something has to give...it'll be our cushy lifestyle. 9 billion people can't live like the 350 million in America.
There is SO MUCH you "just don't get" and/or are unwilling to see/admit.
Just because a few women and minorities get quotas, because gays can marry, trannies use whatever restroom they want, half the country receiving government benefits...doesn't mean America is getting better.

"Donald Trump’s Twitter fails continued this weekend as the president retweeted a man who once carried a “rape Melania” sign to a rally.
The president on Saturday evening shared with his 46.7 million followers a tweet from Jack Posobiec, the alt-right Internet activist who is best known for the “pizzagate” conspiracy theory that falsely suggested Hillary Clinton ran a sex trafficking ring from a D.C. pizza joint.
Conservative Posobiec frequently tweets pro-Trump messages, and was among the organizers of the DeploraBall party, but in a move intended to discredit anti-Trump protesters he carried a “rape Melania” sign at an anti-Trump rally, Buzzfeed reported at the time.
However, this did not appear to prevent the president from being interested in retweeting his message over the weekend."

"Trust and Truth Under Trump: Americans Are in a Quandary
A year into Donald Trump's fact-bending, media-bashing presidency, Americans are increasingly confused about who can be trusted to tell them reliably what their government and their commander in chief are doing."

"The layoffs have stunned these steelworkers who, just a year ago, greeted President Trump’s election as a new dawn for their industry. Mr. Trump pledged to build roads and bridges, strengthen “Buy America” provisions, protect factories from unfair imports and revive industry, especially steel.
But after a year in office, Mr. Trump has not enacted these policies. And when it comes to steel, his failure to follow through on a promise has had unintended consequences."

WASHINGTON — Sen. Jeff Flake is planning to slam President Donald Trump's attacks on the press on the Senate floor this week in a speech that will compare the president's use of the term "enemy of the people" to describe the media to Soviet dictator Josef Stalin.
"When a figure in power reflexively calls any press that doesn't suit him ‘fake news,’ it is that person who should be the figure of suspicion, not the press," Flake, R-Ariz., will say, according to excerpts of the speech provided to NBC News.
Trump called the media the "enemy of the people" in a February tweet. "The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!" the president wrote on Twitter.
"Mr. President, it is a testament to the condition of our democracy that our own president uses words infamously spoken by Josef Stalin to describe his enemies," Flake plans to say in the Senate remarks.
"It bears noting that so fraught with malice was the phrase 'enemy of the people,' that even (later Soviet leader) Nikita Khrushchev forbad its use, telling the Soviet Communist Party that the phrase had been introduced by Stalin to for the purpose of 'annihilating such individuals' who disagreed with the supreme leader," Flake will say."

Trump knew within minutes no missile was hurtling toward Hawaii. He was golfing. They told him. He did not tweet out that info. He kept golfing. People thought they & their families were going to die FOR 38 MINS. Then when the panic was over he tweeted how media is so mean to him

Trump's playbook is to keep his ignorant 'base' afraid, believe his lies by doubling down on them...and call any media that criticizes him as "fake news."
There was never even a thought in his primitive brain...to assuage the fear of scared American citizens in Hawaii.

And he knows, as I mentioned to one of his lemmings, they will suck up anything he throws at them.
They seem proud of that, but they have no idea why,.

A lot of people suffered mentally with this scare, but he had a golf game to finish and a first amendment to attack.
