For those who are stuck in the north as the winter begins to set in, here’s a great link that I found with hundreds of top quality photos taken around TV. It’s probably the next best thing to actually being here. Enjoy

Nice, very nice. The site has been bookmarked.
One interesting thing is if you scroll down the on the right side you come to a Feedjit Live Traffic Feed. It shows you a list of people currently viewing the pictures. when I first found it 90% of the people on it were using a link from TOTV.
Hawk, that is interesting. Another thing to note is that not only does it show how the viewers arrived there (i.e. from the Talk of The Villages link that I posted), it also gives an indication of the approximate physical location of the computer that is accessing that site (i.e. “Morrisville, Pennsylvania arrived from talkofthevillages.com”)
By the way, this was my 100th post on TOTV and I wanted it to be something special that I could share with other TOTV members. Hopefully I accomplished that.
Thanks for the site. Those of us that are not Villagers yet appreciate any pics of our dream place! LB & LB

Thanks for the pictures...but in couple of days we will be leaving this cold weather for beautiful Florida...permantely:2excited:. We have sold the house here in RI and moving south.
I see that you are from Massuchesetts, so you know how cold it gets up here. I will leave you all of the snow, cold weather and the leaves on the ground. I do not want to look at snow ever again. Just keep posting those beautiful pictures.:pepper2:

And you also became a member of that elite group of senior members of TOTV.

Ed, thanks for the link! I see at the September 1 picture that they say they're done with the blog? This is what is says, but they posted pictures up to today. I'm confused. Again.
"The Villages Daily Photo and Cedar Key Daily Photo are being shut down. It has become too difficult to process five photo blogs. These blogs will not be deleted, but there will be no more postings for a while, if ever.
I will, however, be posting photos from both The Villages and Cedar Key on Florida Fotos."
Apparently they received many protests from admirers of that blog and posted the following note under the September 4th photo of the LSL lighthouse:
"Okay, please stop with the emails, letters, telegrams, notes from President Obama. I will continue to post photos of The Villages on occasion. And Leif, please tell Allison to cancel the Viking assault.
I've seen the light. Well, at least the lighthouse at Lake Sumter Landing! "

So THAT's what September 4th meant! Now I get it. Sometimes you have to smack me upside the head...
Is there a way to scroll through the pictures without opening each date?
