Is there a group of reptile enthusiasts? I have had Corn snakes in the past. I had several resources and places to purchase enclosures and supplies, and frozen mice in my town in MI. Need information for same items since I moved to The Villages.

Golly gee. Where do you live, Chris. I hope it is like the Tsar. God bless and keep him. Tevye.

There is a quote in a movie about the Tsar ( leader of Russia) where Tevye says "The Tsar...may God bless him and keep him..far away from us.

I respect your dislike.
Now this is only my personal reason for having a Corn Snake. It is one of the easiest “pets” to have. They don’t make noise, they only eat one thing, they eat once every 7-10 days, they poo once every 10-12 days, rarely do they need vet care, and I don’t need a sitter if I have to work late. Yes I have a canine companion. They both are better than most humans. Just my opinion.

I see see quit few corn/rat snakes? down here. I would think petco would supply snake food (mice). As many as they are around here I would just catch one and not buy one? Most ones I see Are greenish black. Looks just like corn snake but not the pattern more closely to black snake if not black snake? If you want to know where I see them private email me.

Thank you. Wild caught will not do well in a captive environment. I have owned captive bred Corn snakes in the past. Thank you for your information.

Snakes to make great pets! Try the pet store in Leesburg on rt 27 for mice and rats. I would only use frozen as you take the chance of having your snake injured with live. There is a large reptile show in Orlando called Repticon on January 27 & 28th. They have a website to get all the info and directions

If you go to the show stop by the booth for Dragonwood Conservancy they always have a variety of endangered reptiles. They are very knowledgeable and it is fun to hold a 60 lb. olive python or see one of the most endangered animals in the world, the Chinese Alligator. If you can't make the show look them up on facebook or email me and I can give you more information: dilon61903@gmail.com
