If you are observing that your clock time on Talk of The Villages is still showing Daylight Savings Time, there is an adjustment you have to make in your "User CP". In the upper left corner of every page (in the dark blue bar) you will see "User CP"

Click on that. Then, in the left column, you will see "edit options." Click on that.

Now, scroll down that page to near the bottom and you will see the boxes that indicate the time.

Be sure that GMT 5:00 (Eastern Time (Us and Canada)) is visible in the window.

Now, the next box down should say, "automatically detect DST"

If it doesn't, then click the little "drop down" box and select it. Your time will be right now for Eastern Standard Time.

When I sent you the message, I had no idea that I was supposed to do it on my own. I see you fixed it for me and I appreciate that. Probably most posters are sharper than I am, but just in case, you might want to bring this up again at the next time change. (Besides, knowing me, I probably won't remember.) Thanks again.

...of a famous Native American saying: "Only paleface would think they can make blanket longer by cutting off one end and sewing onto other."
