My wife had a late medical exam, because of the hour we tried 3 of our favorite places to dine no room at the inn, despite my pleas to not try it--my wife made us pull into Mezza _Luna

All I can say is never again !!!

My fish came out still frozen in the middle-sent it back-told my server I did not want another entree, my wife sent back her side dish twice-she wanted broccoli rabe sautéed, it came back steamed twice with no taste of oil & garlic==I stayed for her to finish her dish--I had another cocktail & we left

2 very simple dishes

I expect properly prepared food-no matter what the price, I expect a bar to not run out of liquor , I expect servers & bartenders to be attentive

Bone Fish,Cane Garden , lighthouse,Chefs of Napoli, Sakura and Arnold Palmer know how to do it right--its a shame others can't

Also, we don't put much stock in high end real estate @ this time of our life, we care about activities, medical, emergency response and being relatively close to things we have a passion for, besides dining

Perhaps you could dine at home and go out for cocktails?

We have experienced nothing but courteous, prompt service and great food at Mezza Luna.

I have never had a bad experience at Mezza Luna. Perhaps speak to manager.

We have been several times, but last week we ordered a sandwich with fries, and small pizza, pizza came out 9 minutes later hot sandwich came out looked great, but not the fries. ( maybe a way to get me not to eat fried food.
Manager stopped by asked him about the fries and asked why the sandwich had cold meatballs. Sorry in order, took back to the kitchen. 17 minutes later still no second entry, manger thought kitchen may have forgotten. Got the bill which had to be adjusted due to the sandwich left on. Not saying I will rush back, but not high on our list.

You should have read previous discussions about (Mess) A Luna. How do they stay in business. One of the worst run business in The Villages. As I previously posted: One night, 20 to 30 people eating, One Waitress, No Bartender, A clueless Manager, a Bus Boy. They do not give a S... The waitress quit the next week. This could have been a great restaurant and was pretty good until the recent ownership took over. SAD. How do they pay their rent?

As long as there are people who are clueless as to properly prepared & served food-establishments like this will survive--pizza & spaghetti & meatballs do make an Italian restaurant

IMHO most people here are thrilled they don't have to cool anymore and in all reality the restaurants here are cheaper than cooking @ home
