Looking for creative ideas ref SuperBowl parties. I'm thinking GAMELESS events complete with all the fixin's but no game-related stuff OR, most importantly, not even the football game being shown on the television. As you must know by now the NFL has refused to allow an ad urging people to stand for the national anthem. I realize there are those who support anti-patriotic kneeling players. BUT I also believe there are many more in TV that are appalled by such displays and moreover by the NFL's hypocritical policies. With this being their premier event I am hopeful reduced participation will awaken their greedy leadership. After all money talks and they make their money from citizen participation. So get creative, have your party, show Patton or Shirley Temple or just play music but if you have been disgusted by the demonstrations throughout the season by these spoiled selfish gazzillionaires boycott SB 52. I am even suggesting bars have no-game zones. Tim

What I can’t understand is why the NFL is doing this to themselves. Just a couple days ago they disallowed a Super Bowl commercial by a veterans organization with the message “ please stand”. They don’t want to be political which is a joke. It seems like this problem could have been resolved maybe with a moment of silence for “society’s injustices” after the anthem. And they recently gave Goodell an even better contract. Makes no sense to me.
