That had to be the worst concert I’ve ever been to in 64 years of life. It was AWFUL. We left with about 30 minutes left; couldn’t stand anymore of the vocals of the lead singer or nothing being in sync.

They are only Badfinger in name. The only original member of Badfinger with them is Joey Molland. Many people believe that Joey was the reason that two of the band members committed suicide. The third member died of an anuerysm.

This is why I didn't get tickets for the Guess Who..The only original member in the current touring group is the Drummer.

I saw the Yardbirds last year at Savannah Center and the only original member was the drummer. However, the singer Mick Relf died in 1977, so I can fault them for that and getting either Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton or Jeff Beck back would be a stretch.

Now in the case of the Guess Who, that band is nothing without Burt Cummings, that's like Grand Funk without Mark Farner, the real voice and guitar of that band. I saw GFR the last time Mark, Don & Mel appeared together in 1998, fantastic show, and Mark is still touring solo but left the band for personal reasons. The Guess Who on the otherhand guitarist Randy Bachman left a long time ago, I saw the Guess Who in November 1970 and Bachman was already gone and replaced with Kurt Winter, who is dead. The current Guess Who tour should of had Jim Kale the bassist as well as Gary Peterson the drummer. I did see the Guess Who in 1984 and they only had Jim Kale at that time with the singer of Coney Hatch, Carl Dixon, and they put on an excellent show. I did skip this Savannah concert myself.

Badfinger suicide by lead singer guitarist Pete Ham in 1975 I believe was brought on by not receiving any money. They had signed with American Stan Polley to manage their business affairs in 1970 and with 4 hits in a row, Baby Blue, Come and Get It, No Matter What and Day after Day they were receiving almost not money. This was contributed by their label Apple Records closing shop. They actually wrote the huge Harry Nilsson hit Without You but didn't get songwriting fees because of the Apple problem. The 1983 suicide of Tom Evans followed a heated telephone conversation with the fellow who was here last night, Joey Molland about money once again.

Current Guess Who with Jim Kale second from left and Gary Peterson on far right.
