We are going to be new to the villages. We are trying to find out where to get information on where and how much insurance will be. Who is the best person to discuss this with? Please advise or send me an email at billyboyragan@gmail.com. Thank you

OP, you did not provide enough information, age is necessary'
Village Health System (VHS) as I understand it will accept you and your insurance IF (big IF) you are below the age of 65. Once you turn 65 to stay in VHS you MUST have an ADVANTAGE plan, and I think they only accept 3 of these.
As noted above SHINE will be your best source of info.

There is also a local BlueCross BlueShield office. You can see any of the agents for help and best of all: Most of them are Villages residents too!

There are plenty of doctors here that are not part of the Villages Health care system. We did not join years ago when we were invited and have never had a problem finding a doctor or a specialist who takes our Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. Many people love the Villages Health Care system but I wanted you to know there are other options.
