We have a separate drinking water bill. Recently, I installed some water saving devices. The last bill was 1,840 gallons for the two of us, no pool and no guests last month. How does that compare to your consumption?

Doesn’t drinking water portion of bill in TV include showers, laundry, toilet and outdoor faucets? About 2500 last billing period. Water base charge $9.35 and water charge of $5.16. Biggest expense is landscape water for us.

With three reporting and if I escalate Retired guy's usage by 50% for a second person and take E flyers under 3,000 gallons as 2900 gallons this places this sample at 2400 gallons.

The savings in utilities is not so much from saving water, it is from the savings of not heating hot water.
