Tried to make reservation last evening and this morning. Kept getting announcement that all circuits are busy, try later.

Finally called Tee Time Office this morning and was told system was down and they were working on it. I was told to call later. Been trying this evening and only get a busy signal at 753-GOLF (4653)

Wondering if anyone else is having trouble accessing system or has anyone heard when it will be fixed?

My hubby has been trying to get through all night and has been frustrated. We are new here for the winter and don't know how to go online to make reservations. Anyone know how to get online reservations?? Thanks.

Just went to Golf in The Villages website and found this notice.

NOTICE: The Interactive Voice Response (IVR) telephone access to the Golf Information Systems is temporarily out of service. It is expected that this service will be restored on Thursday, November 12, 2009.

Please contact the tee-time office (750-4558) for assistance in making a teetime request or reservation.

We will be keeping staff on until 7:30 pm until this issue is resolved to assist you with your needs. Please refer back to this web-site and/or VNN & WVLG for further updates.

Zcaveman, do you only have to pay for the months you are here if you are a snowbird??

You pay on a monthly basis so I guess you would just cancel the Tee Time System and signup again when you get back. I will call tomorrow and verify it and add to the post if someone else doesn't know off hand.

I called thevillages.net. According to the thevillages.net staff, you would inactivate your account when you go back north and just reactivate it when you return.
