Shooting in the villages on the local news

The local news mentioned a shooting in TV this evening. There are two helicopters hovering not far from us in Polo Ridge. I think that it was mentioned that the incident took place in Glenbrook which abuts Polo Ridge. More news to follow on the 11 o'clock news as the media didn't have any more info at this time. .....b

More details. The news said a woman shot a man many times and is barricaded in a home.

The incident was reported late Thursday on Bloomington Place in the northwest corner of The Villages in Sumter County in the Village at Glen Brook subdivision.

Authorities said the shooting began as a domestic dispute in which a woman shot a man.

The man was airlifted to a nearby hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
