Any place that delievers?

Hi everyone.
My name is John and i live in Ohio. My dad and step mom will be moving to the villages in 2 weeks. We are sad to see them moving. How are they going to survive with out snow and cold? They will in the South end of the villages i think near 466A and Morse? I think they said they will be in the new house for a day or two till there stuff arrives. I would like to take care of a meal for them. Are there any places that will bring them a meal besides pizza? Any ideas would be great. Thanks

If you go to their web site you'll see that Villages Food no longer delivers. I agree it would be a great service to have but I just don't think they were able to make it financially.

I believe it lists some 70 + restaurants in the villages along with reviews [some may be quite dated]

If you can't find a restaurant that delivers, maybe your dad and step mom would like to go out to get a bite to eat. As mentioned before, there are about 70 restaurants in The Villages, not counting fast food ones. These are all mentioned online at http://home.comcast.net/~thevillagesgourmetclub/page1.html

They are very close to Colony Plaza and only about a 10 minute golf cart ride to Lake Sumter Landing. You can check that link and see what is available there. They are closest to Havana Restaurant at the Havana Country Club. See the gourmet listings for that.
There is a wonderful Chinese take out at colony. It is our favorite of all the Chinese take outs we've ever been to.

I noticed at Cody's Roadhouse web site they have gift certificates that can be purchased online. That's in Lake Sumter. It's a new restaurant and is on my list to visit. I believe they specialize in steaks.

I don't think they're going to miss the snow shoveling, but they may miss the snow when they see it on the weather channel.
