Awesome showing, his last run and he had to nail it to move from silver to gold. Cool under pressure, and for an old guy as far as olympic halfpipe snowboarding goes. Put an exclemation point on a great career.

I also notice that NBC showed him on the podium waiting for the National Anthem and then showed him again with the Anthem ending, but they skipped the actual ceremony. Grounds for boucotting the rest of the olympics. Thats just not right.

A great moment in American Winter Olympics.

As far as the flag incident - Let's give the guy a break. He had just won gold competing against the best in the world. It was an accident and he was unaware of it at the time.

As far as the flag incident - Let's give the guy a break. He had just won gold competing against the best in the world. It was an accident and he was unaware of it at the time.And as emotional as he was he remembered the flag to show the world what his gold stood for.
