No no no, not THAT closet.
You see, my furniture is on a moving van headed to Florida and on Dec 2nd, I’ll hop on a plane to my retirement home in Stonecrest next to Orange Blossom Hills. So I won’t be in TV but right next to it.
Now before this turns into a flaming war, I want everyone to understand that I love TV and I do not think that Stonecrest is better. In fact I have a close friend who will be retiring in two or three years and have told her that TV will be much better for her. But although I enjoy playing golf, my arthritic ankle has made anything more than a couple of rounds a month too painful to enjoy. So the “free golf for life” benefit is lost on me. And I can assure everyone that I don’t condone non TV folks using TV amenities and I certainly don’t intend to do so.
What I really liked most about the whole area is the golf cart access to tons of restaurants, retail, and medical offices along 441. And what happened was that a “short sale” home in Stonecrest turned up and I couldn’t resist. So I bought a street legal golf cart that I can cross 441 with instead of having to use the golf cart bridge, and that will satisfy my major needs.
I’d love to meet some of you folks at the pub gatherings once I’m down, and perhaps attend the next TOTV luncheon at Crispers, but not sure how I’ll be received.
