Just curious as to what the speed limit is between Wildwood and the Villages on 466a. The last posted speed limit from either way is 45. I have had cars tailgate me and also pass me on the double yellow line. Should I be going 55mph on that stretch of road?

At this time of year it seems like everyone is in a hurry.
People don't like to get behind me also because I drive the speed limit.
Tough nuts to them!
Watch Lake county courts on cable and see how many people get stopped around here for no license or driving while suspended.(lots) 1 unpaid ticket means your license gets suspended.
45 years of driving without a ticket and I want to keep it that way.
466a in either direction frequently has Radar cars or motorcycles on it for speed control. My sister-in-law got a speeding ticket on
466a in Fruitland park cost her $268 and she was luck because it was in the 45mph not 35mph section.
Personally I would stay at the posted speed limit or risk helping the local municipality balance their budget.:police::police:

Yep, I see them all the time on 466A usually sitting on the south side of the road parked with the radar guns in place. Its the kinda road that may entice you to speed up cause its usually empty and your in a hurry, but DON'T. I've seen them pull over many many cars and trucks.
