Is the issue that you cannot get in the attic because of some mobility issue of is it just the gross factor?

I would be wondering if the rat had a partner?

I would be wondering if the rat had a partner?

Or if there are palm trees near the roof?

I would do something quickly. A rotting rat is an eye waterer.

It turned out to be two dead squirrels. And yes, it was the gross factor. Neither myself or my husband could muster up the courage to do it. We paid our lawn guy a hundred bucks to do the dirty deed.

There were rats in the neighborhood and we had Absolute Wildlife Solutions /Eric come out to see if there was any evidence of rats or aquiirels or ???. No evidence so he sealed up every spot where they could enter and guaranteed for a year or more (sorry, don’t remember the exact guarantee). IF the neighbor had rats, he was able to set traps to get them out and then seal the house- for us with no evidence, the job was about $300 which was well worth the cost.

Sorry the phone number for AWS is 352-502-5849 (& I don’t refer any company for a kick back, he’s no a ‘friend or relative ‘ of ours, I just believe in recommending people who I believe in!
