Never tried, not sure I knew this existed.

What is “TV email”?

Be a little more specific.

Do you mean someone@districtgov.org or do you mean some other email?

BTW, if it is districtgov.org, I have had no problems recently.

I mean the villages.net provided email. Such as your chosen email address@the villages.net. I had to remove it today as it was locking up my IPad.

I don't know about TV email, but yesterday and Friday when I tried to go to this forum it said unavailable. The forum server seemed to be not working.

I believe the email app that Rickg is referring to is the email account provided when you join TheVillages.Net online service as many do when they start golfing as it allows easy accesss to the Tee Time System, and to the GHIN system for Golf Handicap management. And yes, Rick, there has been a software development with access to that email system via just about any web-based platform that came about after some sort of Microsoft upgrade recently. A relative here in TV just called to advise he received a letter from TheVillages.Net on his Home Page (I saw no such letter - so it must be showing up on only registered member pages?) explaining the whole thing. Apparently, they have not, and do not expect to find a fix for this anytime soon, and are accepting cancellations going back several months for those who want to move to a different email platform. Not sure how it effects the use of the GHIN though. Hope that helps.....at least a little! :)

GHIN, thevillages.net, or no other systems that I know of require use of thevillages.net email for an account to log in. Any valid email address will work.

No, wasn't saying you needed a TheVillages.net email to access any of those systems or apps.....only that some people who did have one of free email accts provided with TheVillages.net set up were having trouble getting into it. We managed to resolve our relative's issue, so not sure what else might be giving people problems. Our problem was caused by "autofill" dumping an incorrect password into the box! LoL!! :)
