I need assistance with completing a form in Japanese. Does anyone know of a resource in the Villages that can assist with writing Japanese that can assist me with completion of a Passport renewal??

Thanks in advance....

This may be you safest bet. Less chance for screw ups.

Consulate-General of Japan in Miami (http://www.miami.us.emb-japan.go.jp/itprtop_en/index.html)

Thanks Harry but, I have already contacted them in fact I am in need of assistance renewing my Japanese Passport and the consulate does NOT assist people who need to complete the renewal form, they expect that I either bring someone to Miami to assist me or, they sent me the form and I can have someone assist me up here then take it back to Miami. I'm trying to do the latter.

Thanks anyway....j

There is an Asian-American Club in the Villages. It's listed in the current Recreation News because they have a meeting on Feb. 26th. A contact person is also listed. Perhaps that contact or a club member could assist or guide you to a helpful individual. When I googled Japanese and Chinese writing characters, it said that 70-80% are the same.
