I am considering moving out of mutual funds primarily because of tax considerations. Since I do not switch out of funds that often, holding them would reduce my tax liability, I think. I am tired of looking at statements with many line items even though I have not switched anything. Thoughts anyone

Might consider closed end funds as well. They are traded like stocks.
