My wife had an older PC, and since we have been here in tv, the computer takes forever to download, load, get email, etc. In fact, the computer takes forever to do anything. Where can i take this computer for a reputable repair?

I used MMD Computer Center in Lady Lake. Very happy with service and will use them again.

Call Computer solutions by Philip: 352-245-6148

I recently had computer problems and philip talked me thru the problem by phone and didnt charge me a cent. He makes house calls and is a Villager himself. Great guy and very knowledgable.

I just picked up my laptop from MMD Computers in Lady Lake. I had more RAM installed, and a general cleanup of unused programs. It took 24 hours, and the cost was very competitive. I recommend them to anyone who needs computer repairs.

Another vote for MMD Computers in Lady Lake. Our "coal-burning" computer's power supply failed and my husband took it to MMD yesterday. It's back home today. He was very impressed with the quick, efficient and cheerful service.

I just sprnt $ 105.44 ar wholesale computer AAA across from Walmart on 441. Never again as it was as confused when I go it home as when I took it in. I suggest #1 Rught Click at 352-454*5996. He came to the house and fro $ 35 all is perfect again. John really knows hism stuff. Scott is no longer at AAA so that may be the problem.

How old is old is a good question. Computer speed depends on the speed of the CPU, enough memory and the graphics card for being able to display.

I hope someone can advise you as to whether it's worth an upgrade or buy new.

Have you tried doing a thorough scan with your Internet Security (anti-virus)? Also, if you do not have Malwarebytes on your computer download it and run a complete scan. You may be infected with a bunch of malware, spyware, and/or viruses. Download CCleaner and run it. Check your programs to see if there are any listed that you did not authorize to be downloaded on your computer. Be careful, and do NOT delete any that you aren't sure of. If this was my computer I would try cleaning it of these kinds of threats and unauthorized programs first. You didn't say how old it is, how much available physical memory you have, etc. Many things can cause a computer to slow. It just may be time to replace it.

If you have the software on a disk I would reformat the drive and reload the software. Backup any data to another drive as you will lose it.
