Gary Cohen resigned, top economic advisor to President as Cohen did not support steel and AL tariffs. Suspect Wed March 07 will be an ugly day in the market. Stocks are where many of us keep our savings, brace yourself. I hope my prediction is totally wrong by the way

DOW futures already down over 300 points. He was considered the moderating factor.

Think positive, tomorrow late day should be a good time to pick up some bargains but don't wait too long. As long as you don't have to sell watch it drop and then buy.

I believe it is down over 1100 points in last 3 trading days.

Who cares? What the stock market does in a day or two is totally irrelevant to a serious investor. If you care about this, go to a casino.

This will be a blip and likely a good opportunity to buy. “Flash Boys” will take their usual advantage but over time, stock are priced on factors other than who is the Chief Economic Advisor. Cohn is a Democrat and has globalist ideas in conflict with the President. He will be replaced and the market will recover.

We'll just have to steel ourselves for a potential drop in our stock holdings.

I do have a bit of empathy though, for those who will soon be paying more...for their tin foil hats. :D

Tin isn’t on the tariff list.

Tin Foil is, as we all know, an old generic name for aluminum foil. I for one am in favor of the tariffs on steel in particular.

Thanks for explaining, what I never even imagined...would need explaining.

And yes, I know the history/difference between 'tin' foil and 'aluminum' foil.

Back in the day, IBM headquarters at 590 Madison Ave in NYC had painted on it’s brick side about 20 stories up the following motto...”WORLD PEACE THROUGH WORLD TRADE”.
NOTHING about trade wars.
