Are they timely, neat, good work, do what they promise, etc?

Johnny (Mellado) did extensive work for us by adding a completely new room on to our house and by turning our lanai into a "real" room (not just by adding windows).
He did an excellent job.
However, since then I have read there have been some issues.
I would speak with Johnny about the prior issues you read on this site and possibly not pay in advance (?).

Check the BBB and with Seniors Vs Crime. There have definitely been some issues recently - proceed with caution.
