Does anyone have an idea of what to do with left over soil from planting shrubs? Does it go out with the lawn clippings, leafs and such? Is there a place I can take it? Sumter County.
Thanks only been here 7 months and love it.

Yes, you can put it those BROWN lawn bags, or just rake around the plantings.

Nursery that sell palm trees, heading east on 466 just outside of The Villages on the rt side to 411, will accept the soil..I had six Home Depot buckets of clean sandy soil.. I asked first, they will tell you dump the soil on their dirt pile, with a smile....

FYI - I called about a similar issue, shrubs I pulled out, and the collection people were adamant that the do not pick up dirt/rock and that I should bang all dirt out of root ball including hosing them down. I suspect they run yard waste through a shredder and dirt and rock damage machinery.

Agree with previous post. Rake it evenly over lawn. The grass will thank you!
