Dr Truesdale is AWESOME. He is so nice - I have been going to him for 3 or 4 years now and love him. He is a gentleman and has a wonderful bedside manner.

Is dr. Truesdale a GP or is he a specialist? Is he taking new patients?

Hi Nonie,
He is a gastroenterologist. He took us on recently so I am assuming that he is still taking new patients. For a GP I see Dr. Angel Tafur who I also have been very happy with.

When I looked him up it said Internal Medicine.

TWO words for Dr. Truesdale:
1. AWESOME.
2. Gastroenterologist.
He's undoubtedly also board certified in internal medicine, but his practice now is devoted to gastroenterology.

I hope not like the GP I was seeing. He checked the football scores while he was examining me. A couple of times, he had his back to me the entire visit, with his eyes glued to his laptop which had pictures of football players on it.
Others will know who I am talking about, because they have posted similar comments in the past.
Yes, this is the guy who yawns during the exam. The same one who, in a years time and six visits, never once touched me with a stethoscope.
He is taking new patients, I think. His waiting room was always empty when I went there.
His phlebotomy staff was real good too. They tried four times, and two arms. (two different people) to get my blood. Then they said, "we think you should go to another lab, which I did, and they got it the first stab. :grumpy:
I still need a good Internist. Top 25% in all categories, male.

Nope - nothing like that TH. Just a guy who had a face to face talk with me about my IBD. Then after the colonoscopy sat down and explained all the results, everything he did during the procedure, and when I was due back.
Know he's a Sox fan because of the memorabilia in his office.
Yoda - look for the thread on Dr. Angel Tafur - he is a family practitioner located near TV hospital.
