Can someone tell me of a nice country club or restaurant that will be open on Christmas Day?

This is my first Christmas down here---and I haven't heard whether or not anything is open for dinner/brunch, etc.

Thanks,

Lynn, I am sure you will find a restaurant or Country Club open that day, if you get the Daily Sun keep checking......restaurants and CC that will be open on Christmas would be advertising there.:welcome:

Haven't been there for Christmas but we have eaten at Amelia's in the Waterfront Inn food was very good. I've been told they do a very nice Christmas dinner.

We saw Red Sauce was open on Thanksgiving after eating at one of the Country Clubs. The meal at the country club was just ok. If we had known Red Sauce was open we would have ate there. Hoping they are open on Christmas Day. Then accross the street for Scooter.

How about if some Talk of The Villages members who will be alone this Christmas have a gathering of members for Christmas dinner at a restaurant or somebody's home.

Every time I read that someone is looking for a nice restaurant for a holiday it tugs at my heart. Perhaps people like to eat out on Holidays but I never have. I love to cook and if I were there I would love to share our meal.

I'm still debating with myself over Christmas dinner. We have never eaten out, but then we have never spent Christmas in TV. I've rented 2 other houses for kids and grandkids, so it should be fun, but ...

I don't have:
* enough dishes
* enough silverware
* enough casseroles
* enough energy!

Eating out is very tempting!!
