Any recommendations for a good licensed electrician to replace a lamppost outlet with a GFI outlet ?

I have been very pleased with Scott's Electrical. Scott is licensed, reliable, and, in my opinion, reasonable. We've used him twice for various electrical projects -- new outlets, convert old, problematic fuses for new ones, etc.
His telephone number is 352-217-0744.

Lenhart’s good — $80/hr, $80 for first half hour.
A good handyman can actually do this quite easily as well.

Your lamp post is already protected by a GFCI (either a breaker version, or a receptacle version), so you should only need a weather proof box and STANDARD receptacle on the lamp post.

Actually, any handyman is perfectly capable of doing this.
