The Senate this week voted to keep $400-500 billion dollars in Medicare cuts in the trillion dollar Health Bill. It's pretty obvious who the Congress infested leftist ideologues want to take away from to "redistribute the wealth and health". Seniors who have contributed to Medicare for most of their working careers and anticipated fair coverage in retirement have now had been betrayed by a Senate that is pushing a plan every legitimate poll says the country doesn't want and a President who waved his finger at us and told seniors and the nation recently "Medicare would not be cut by one penny." Those of you who are selectively short of memory might remember the "liar in chief" also said that the half billion was going to be made up by reducing fraud and corruption in healthcare and not on the backs of those who need health care the most.....seniors......remember?

I guess it's kind of a Clintonesque play on words. You surely recall, "It depends on what the meaning of "is" is." Obama was technically correct......the Senate did not cut one penny. How many pennies in $500 billion?

Don't the Liberals realize that Obama will be taking health and wealth away from Liberals as well as we Conservatives.

Don't the Liberals realize that Socialism eliminates both Liberals and Conservatives.

Of course the opposition is aware that if there are cuts in benefits....seniors specifically, they will be affected. If taxes are increased to fund the shortfall they too will be taxed.

What I find to be unacceptably stupid is to be so deeply dedicated to a party, either party, so as to become totally useless in the defense or combating of what is right or not right.

I find it to be an alarming situation when the Congress and Obama are hell bent to get health care reform passed.....NO MATTER WHAT THE MESSAGE IS FROM we the people.

The shortcoming of this forum as well as others is the Dems just will not offer their opinion(s) about what is happening. They will not speak against ANYTHING their beloved candidate has to say. They will not go against the party line to their detriment. And I know there are some that do. Those I address are the most outspoken FOR their party and beliefs and the complete lack of silence when it really matters.

Health care reform will reduce services seniors enjoy today. Health care reform will cause seniors to pay more for the services they used to have covered by Medicare. You will see increased rationing of care. There will be longer waits for the services you currently get.

If you think TV is crowded in the winter season....wait until the other 15-20,000,000 uninsureds get in line.

Silence on the subject is very disturbing. Must be the pig in a poke (they bought) syndrome.
