The PGA event this week in Punta Cana Dominican Republic is being led by Brice Garnett. Brice is from Gallatin, Mo. a town of about 2,000 in north Missouri where I started my coaching career in 1968. We also moved back to nearby Lake Viking in 2003 and lived there til 2013. I was a member of Daviess County CC in Gallatin and became friends with Brice's mom and dad. His dad had been his high school golf coach and they won three state championships while he was in HS. Brice was an All-America golfer at Missouri Western University in St. Joseph and led the Web.com tour in money earnings last year. ITs on golf channel now.
