Is Embarq a dish system only? I have Embarq computer and phone now. I need to add tv. I would like to have the Villages tv station but I don't require it. Should I just have Embarq put in the tv reception or make a switch on everything?

Direct tv is the only reliable provider

The Embarq seems to be fine as far as speed. I just don't know about the cable packages.

I have their dsl, phone service, and Dish. I've had DirecTV before and Dish is fine. Only thing they seem to lack is pay for NFL games. Comcast is a disaster. The Villages TV station is not of interest to me. Just read the paper and you'll get all the news. DSL speed is based on how much you want to pay. I have their 10MB service and it's great. Their minimum service is $15, but sure beats dial up. They are much more reliable than Comcast, speed is consistent, and tech support has been fine. They also bill correctly, unlike Comcast. Ctel is only a billing service for Dish. You can buy it and bill it directly from Dish.

What is the best deal for obtaining reliable TV/internet/phone?

I don't mind using more than one provider if no-one is good at all three services. I'm not too fussed about the local Villages channels, and I don't need super-fast internet access.

Appreciate your thoughts and experiences.

Thank you
