This little male puppy was found in the Village of Hadley. He's very healthy, well taken care of and very friendly. Please contact Karen Tynes: 750-1627 or e-mail responsibledogownersgroup@embarqmail.com if you know who owns this dog.

Do you have a picture of the puppy?

This puppy was picked-up by Sumter County Animal Control and adopted out.

I would have loved a different ending-- the one where the puppy and his loving family reunite with joy. At least the puppy was adopted. I'm glad, and hope he has a new wonderful home and stays on leash and out of trouble.

Please remember, when we have Animal Control pick-up a pet, it is because we have not been able to find the owner. In most cases the pets have no collars, id chips or tatoos. Most pets from The Villages are in good condition, trained and very adoptable. It is rare that the pets are put down, they are usually transported to Humane Society to be adopted out. This is another example of why we have formed the RESPONSIBLE OWNERS GROUP: to teach responsible dog ownership. If you have not joined and registered your pets in either RDOG group your pet is not registered on The Village Petfinders website or Cutter Alert, please contact either RDOG or RDOG2 to become registered.
