I had what turned out to be a private showing of Pacific Rim: Uprising in 3-D yesterday as I was the only audience member. I did get to break wind as much as I had to which is a nice thing in some of these longer movies.

The movie was OK but nothing special. Like a 2018 Godzilla movie with alterations in the monsters and the screaming people of Tokyo.:popcorn:

Close----but technically not correct. Do you want the correct answer? That's funny too.

Well T. I was there, a few rows in back of you. I like to slouch low so you didn't see me... But geez, how many nachos with extra cheese and hot peppers did you have??? I was gonna complain, but guys will be guys (kidding, not there.)

Was probably at the new Lowes about then after lunch with my lady. We were wandering the nursery center, and I lost track of her - and...broke wind kinda loud. She unfortunately was right behind me and asked 'WAS THAT YOU???". I pretended not to hear and moved along...

I was sitting all the way at the back so was sure I was the only person in that theater. This happened with The Exorcism of Emily Rose as well and I was getting quite nervous with that movie. Needed a hand to squeeze.

Rodney Dangerfield :1rotfl:

I was once mis- identified as Rodney Dangerfield in a supermarket. It was soooo embarassing. No amount of denials would convince the lady. So in the end I signed the autograph she demanded. I signed it William Williamson (Two Bills) she went away completely happy. She probably still thinks its RD's autograph! :ohdear:

I am going to see "A Quiet Place" this morning at Barnstorm. Reviews are really good, both critics & audience. There is very little sound during much of the movie I read. So..... hopefully my bodily functions will be nice and quiet as well.

And if I have folks around me there>
- PLEASE no popcorn crunching (open mouth, insert snack, close mouth, chew - in that order).:evil6:
- DO NOT push the #$@%! straw up and down making that screech noise during the movie.:evil6:
- And all the other irritating things some do. But been pretty lucky at TV theaters recently. Maybe my hearing is degrading more.

That looks like a great movie. Like almost anything with Emily Blunt.

I do get very noisy popcorn eaters near me often. Then run out of the popcorn in short time though.

If you can hold off A Quiet Place is playing at the Ocala Drive-in. Keep the windows rolled up. [emoji6]

The very worst thing is when you get a group of "girls" out for lunch and a movie and you can bet that one of them will be hard of hearing and they never stop talking or handing along the row rustling bags of candy!. One time we had one in front of us who was telling her friend what happens next in the movie! We did not last long. We usually try to catch a movie right at the end of its run because you get very few people and not much noise.

Thanks. I thought you were having a pop at me!
At the time, wife and I had to look him up on Google, (we are from England) as we had never heard of him.
When I saw him, I realised what an ugley booger I was, and confirmed how bad my wifes eyesight was, as I had convinced her I looked like Steve McQueen!!
