Juliette Falls in Dunellon, Red Tail in Sorrento, World Woods in Brooksville. All top notch. Best 3 I have found in the area.

It might be Baseline just north of the The Villages. It is a 19 hole (they have a bonus hole) course that is all par 3s and par 4s. The landscaping is interesting.

Mission Inn Yahala El Campeon course It's close and 100 years old with many elevations. "Play a Top 25 U.S. course on Golf Advisor – El Campeon (#9)."

These courses are not cheap but links are below. These courses are fabulous and should be. At times they do run reduced prices. Have played them many times and always felt they were worth the hour drive and conditions were always top notch.

use some of the internet sites (golfnow, teetime golf, etc.) and you can get some good rates. just played Disney for $50. well worth it.
