Any Ace Hardware. Lowes, Home Depot & Sparr only do the exchange. Check the date stamp on your tank. If its more than 10 years old, Ace won't refill it. If thats the case, do the exchange, instead of refill.

I particularly like ACE hardware (the one in Wildwood off of 301) because they make it very easy to have it refilled, especially for this "old" lady. I don't have to carry it far and the young men who fill it, are so kind as to put it back in my car for me so I don't have to lift it.

I use the Ace Hardware on 27/441 between Fruitland Park and Leesburg. And the earlier poster is correct, they won't fill an older tank.

Anther vote for Wildwood ACE, go to the BACK of the store, get your tank out and press the RED button, tank will be filled in about 5 minutes and you will be gone.

Ace in Southern Trace. Drop the tank by the gate and they will fill, then load into your cart or car for you.

One more for Ace. All the others do exchanges.

Does Ace still only charge for the weight (amount) of LPG actually used to fill the tank - ie, tank is 1/4 full when brought in and they only charge for the 3/4 to fill it?

Ace charges by the gallon. Very fair, you don't have to wait until you are in the middle of a party to find out you are out of gas.
