Trying to find a moving company that will move 3000 lbs and not charge for 5000 lbs.
Some companies have a minimal weight. Would prefer not to pay for weight I'm not moving.
Move is from San Jose to TV.
Priced U haul, $2500 plus gas plus the headache of moving myself.
Quote 1 was $7400; Quote 2 if we they can do it over 21 days is $5000.

How about pods
Don't think Pods are an option at our apartment. Worth an inquiry.
Thanks.

And for the record, found Bekins. They have a minimum of 2100 lbs. Moving around 2600 lbs for $4300 from San Jose to TV. $750 premium because it's summer.

Please check their ratings and get references. Remember if it sounds too good... I have heard horror stories about movers who hold your stuff hostage to get more money.

Found Bekins through yelp. They have A+ rating through BBB.
Hopefully our last cross country move.
From 2005, Boston -> Austin -> Boston -> Austin -> San Jose -> TV.
