As reported today in the Daily Sun.
All guests ages one year old and older who visit The Villages and plan to use recreational amenities will be required to have a guest ID.
That policy was finalized Thursday, when Sumter Landing District supervisors approved the measure, matching an earlier approval from the Amenities Authority Committe.

I thought that was always the case.
But I miss a lot. I'm blonde.

We are renting our house for 2 weeks in Feb. and will not be there to get the guess passes. How do we get passes for the renters?

Hey Gracie, can't help but differ with you; you seem very sharp to me! I actually have found all blondes I have met to be brilliant.

OH. I didn't realize that. I wish that they would also require that the little ones wear Pool-able diapers in the pools. Odell had to close down a couple times because of...accidents with diapers that didn't...well you know.

FYI there are usually special diapers available for the infants who use the pools at the adjoining rec center. Ask the staff if you or your guest forgot to buy or bring them along. I believe they are called "swimmies." By the by, not a bad idea or those with Depends. LOL

I think they do require the little ones to have pool diapers on.
Rio Grand Family pool ("the pee pool") has also been closed because of "floaters" :22yikes:left from some of the little ones.
That is why we use the adult pools instead of the one right next to our home.:highfive:
p.s. I think lowering the age from 10 to 1 for I.D. cards is good. In the summer I have seen people with groups of kids come use the pool on a regular basis. When the recreation people come by some of the adults get in the pool so that they don't get checked.

For one, I'm glad about having guest ID for 1 year olds. I hate it when I go to the rec centers and see a bunch of one to five year olds hogging up the
pickleball and bocce ball courts.
Gimme a break !!!!!!!!!!!!!
