Fellow Wisconsites I need some advice...

I just got my annual renewal for my car Registerd in Wisconsin to have an emission test. Since there is no place here to do this, and I will be returning to WI in April, does anyone out there who might be from Wisconsin and is a snowbird know how I can achieve this. I AM NOT driving back home to the cold just to have somone stick something up my tailpipe. lol Seriously, if I can't get an answer here, I'll call the DMV back home I guess. So if there are any snowbirds out there who has had this issue and resolved it, please help. Thanks in advance.

Hi Ron, I had this same problem with my car. I suggest calling your local motor vehicle office in Wisconsin. I called motor vehicle in Utah and they sent me an exemption, because Florida doesn't do emissions inspections. The tricky part was that I had to give them a date when I would have the car back in Utah so I could have it inspected by them. I picked a date at least 6 months away, thinking I would have the car back to them by then, but it still hasn't been back. I eventually got a Florida license and had the car registered in Florida.
