We have CenturyLink and have 2 t.v.'s that we watch individually. For several days we've experienced "freezing and pixtulating". Thought it was "just" the TIVO feature but have a network channel on and it just froze. Is this due to C.L. equipment or with "sun-spots"? Is anyone else experiencing this??

It's sounds like an equipment problem. We had this a couple of years ago, tech gave us newer box and modem. We haven't had a problem since. I usually go you CenturyLink online chat first, have them reboot your equipment and go from there. Chat can order in home tech service also. Good Luck.

With direct TV I boot my own. There is a tiny red button on the DVR.

We've had Direct TV and it used to do the same thing but because of weather. We grew to dislike it here (we'd had it many years) because of that issue....well that was one of the reasons. So we got rid of them...have been satisfied with C.L.--this is a very recent occurance.
