What happened to Steve Day?

I really missed his articles in the Daily Sun about horse racing. Especially so during Derby Week. Now Preakness and the Belmont Stakes coming up.. I hope he is not sick or something. Such a great and knowledgeable writer.

A google search shows that he is now a correspondent for the unmentionable online Villages news site. No clues as to when or why he left the Daily Sun. Looks like he covered the Derby on the news site.
