Golf Cart Access

In February I will be staying at the TownPlace Suites in the Villages for a weekend. I would like to take a look around some of the neighborhoods using a golf cart. I was thinking of renting one for the day. My question is will I be able to use all of the golf cart paths that connect the neighborhoods or will I need a special pass to get around? Thanks for any information.

You should be able to access any village via your cart without a pass. If by chance, there should be a village that you have to pass thru a gate without a gatekeeper, then you just press the button at the gate and it will either open or someone will remotely open it for you.
