Does anyone know of a mobile cat groomer that comes to The Villages. I have two ragdolls, one who gets mats so easily. thanks for your recommendations!

If you combed your kitties once or twice a week, you wouldn't have a mat problem and wouldn't need a groomer.

We used a mobile cat (pet) groomer a couple of years ago, we have a domestic LONG hair cat. The instructions to the groomer was to trim her rear end. Well our cat came back from the mobile grooming van, and she was trimmed ALL OVER, kinda looked like a poodle. OMG was she annoyed. So moral of the story, be sure the groomer and you understand exactly what you want.
As noted above, much to kitty's annoyance, I brush her around once a week, to remove extra hair, I then give her treats.

I was just thinking that same thing. Have had long haired cats over the years and even doing that... sometimes they did get mats, and tugging and pulling and CAREFUL cutting of hair around them, sometimes hurts them. I have always done this myself. In fact never thought about having our cats groomed by another person. They are very finicky about who touches them usually, cats. We have two short hairs now in our life. One is seventeen and the other is two.
But I am slow to have services I can do myself. Have now had my third pedicure in my life. My feet seem to have become farther away than they used to be. I have to say I enjoy the pampering. This getting older is a strange and difficult path.
I hope the OP finds what she needs. I am sure that there is that service here.
