I love this show and was devastated every time one of the characters left. I think the only 2 originals will be Mark Harmon and David McCallum who I used to love in Man From Uncle.

How dare they get rid of Clay, too? Torres could leave any time — really don’t like that character. Don’t think the shrink/profiler/whatever she is adds much to the show but CLAY? He was cute, sweet, good at his job and downright hunky.

RIP Clay Reeves. You will be sorely missed. Fare thee well Abby. Things will never be the same without you.

I'll have to say though, that Torres has grown on me and serves as an example of how even a 'macho' type man...can have some deep feelings. :shrug:

I'm a bit more ambivalent about 'Jack' though.

I believe Jack will play a larger role. NCIS takes their time in developing characters and every time one leaves we worry about who will replace them. So far, they have called it correctly and the show continues to succeed. Abbey will be missed but in a couple years she will be but a memory.....plus, there is always the chance that she can return or guest appear as Ducky is doing this season. The writers and producers always keep us intrigued.
